SANHUA Micro-Channel Heat Exchanger is a finalist in Refrigeration Product of the Year - ACR Awards

SANHUA Microchannel heat exchangers (MCHE) have been used for years in automotive industry for water cooling by air.

After proving its reliability, efficiency in automotive industry microchannel technology started to be implemented into HVAC systems as air cooled condensers (after some design adaptation due to: phase change of refrigerant – vapour/liquid, higher operating pressure, refrigerant flow optimization, etc.).

Currently microchannel heat exchangers are relatively new technology of heat exchangers with rapid increase of its usage in HVAC&R industry. MCHE are widely used in air conditioning systems, heat pumps, refrigeration systems for efficient heat transfer between refrigerant and air.

Key reasons for fast implementation of MCHE technology into HVAC systems are:

- compactness and low weight,

- high heat transfer efficiency,

- reliability and cost effectiveness,

- reduced refrigerant charge, etc.
